LG OLED G2 97″ on display in our showroom

The LG OLED G2 97” takes the self-lit LG OLED technology to its largest size ever with the premium 97-inch screen. Responding the demand for bigger screen sizes to allow for a truly cinematic experience at home, LG released the G2 97” in late 2022.

At Premium Sound we are one of only three showrooms in Victoria where you can experience this truly breathtaking screen. Not only that, we have also integrated with a Dolby Atmos powered Bang & Olufsen sound system to really reinvent the home cinema experience.

As a retailer of premium brands, we have access to the industries best installers. We called on them to help with this massive undertaking.

Firstly, there was the issue of where to put it! The LG OLED G2 97” is such a big screen, it deserves a space big enough and visible enough for people to fully appreciate its quality. Ultimately we decided on the front of the store, on a dedicated display wall amongst the full range of Bang & Olufsen home theatre products.

The installation process included building the dedicated display wall for the screen. The TV was carefully mounted and all devices we connected and setup. Apart from the display wall, this is fairly typical of an installation that we would organise for clients, complete with testing and instructing the new owner on how to best use their new system. 

As it was already nestled among the full range of Bang & Olufsen’s speakers and screens, we decided to show off the ability to connect the G2 screen with the Bang & Olufsen products.

The new Beosound Theatre was the prefect sound bar option to give this amazing quality screen the sound system to match. Featuring Dolby Atmos, 12 drivers and the ability to wirelessly connect to other Bang & Olufsen speakers, The Beosound Theatre was made to work with all brands of TV, but they are at their best when connected to the newer LG TV’s like the LG OLED G2 97”. Our favourite feature is that when connected to the LG OLED G2 series TV’s you can control everything with the Bang & Olufsen Beoremote BT. 

So, what is the end result? The large space allows the screen to shine. With 4K videos playing on loop, customers get the full impact of this screen the moment they enter the showroom. A quick click of a button on the Bang & Olufsen Beoremote brings the sound roaring in, courtesy of the Beosound Theatre sound bar.
