    ic6 BOLLARD Landscape Loudspeaker

    The ic6 Bollard is our high-performance ic6 in-ceiling loudspeaker mounted in our paintable ic6 Bollard Housing (sold separately). The sleek and high-performing bollard provides 360-degrees of flawless, uniform sound – you no longer have to sacrifice sound quality outdoors.

    The ic6 Bollard is available in a deep coffee brown finish and the housing is also paintable. 16-ohm or 70V/100V operation.

    THE WORLD IS FLAT.

    The ic6-BOLLARD projects linear, accurate and detailed sound in literally every direction. Don’t worry if you have to place them near a boundary – the reflected energy has the exact same flat and accurate frequency content as the direct energy and blends seamlessly into one, louder amazing, BIG AND OPEN, sound.

    The ic6-BOLLARD’s horizontal coverage is literally a perfect circle.

    VERTICALLY IN CONTROL.

    The ic6-BOLLARD vertical polar response, plotted as a Polar Controur Map, reveals the vertical dispersion of the loudspeaker. Note that the FRONT of the speaker is plotted at 3 o’clock. The ic6-BOLLARD is designed to throw the sound out, far , and slightly up to the listeners ears.

    BORING RED BOX.

    The “Directivity Contour Plot” shows the speaker’s dispersion characteristics using colour to represent output magnitude. A quick inspection of the ic6-BOLLARD’s Directivity Contour Plot almost looks like a mistake. But it’s not. The 360° coverage is that uniform.

    Here is the data shown in the Directivity Contour Plot shown again on a polar map, making it easier to “see” how the sound is dispersed from the loudspeaker itself (as viewed from above the speaker looking straight down). A perfect circle, indeed.
