DIDRC Technology

Thanks to patented DIDRC (Dynamic Intermodulation Distortion Reduction Circuitry), the P-80 delivers vivid yet smooth and comfortable sound from any music source. DIDRC is a discrete signal control circuit developed to make digital sound sources such as CDs and music streaming services sound as natural as analogue records. This technology has been further refined for use in the P-80’s analogue filter of the DAC and phono amplifier circuits.

Foundational Design

Combining a fan-less design that eliminates noise, a premium stereo DAC (32bit / 768kHz) that reduces distortion, and an extrusion aluminium heat sink for vibration suppression, the P-80 lays a solid foundation for superior sound with distortion-less performance.

Seismic Resistance & Rigidity

The P-80 housing consists of two aluminium side panels and a steel top panel. This three-piece housing construction increases rigidity and improves seismic resistance. The “oval chassis” with oval press lines strengthens the bottom surface and disperses vibration for altogether improved sound quality.

Superior Components

Hi-fi grade terminals, quality capacitors, and rigid front panels further reduce vibration and signal degradation. The P-80 has a phono circuit independent of other circuits, compatible with both MM and MC cartridges. The MC circuit is designed as discrete and accurately reproduces the output signal of a tiny MC cartridge without distortion.

Input your gear and connect to your music with ease. The P-80 features 3 pairs of RCA analogue inputs, MM/MC phono, coax, optical, USB-A (Storage Playback) and headphone inputs. Plus two independent subwoofer outputs providing enough power to fully express the lowest tones in your music.
