Leather in the Limelight
Grande Utopia, Stella, Maestro, Scala, Diva…: 13 pairs of Utopia loudspeakers feature a hand-patinated leather finish. These one-of-a-kind pieces are complemented by two nesting tables and a Bathys hi-fi headphone, all in a carefully coordinated palette of colors and materials.
From shoemaking to leather patination and glazing, the bootmaker’s craft encompasses many skills. Leather patination involves applying natural colored creams and pigments to create varied transparencies and tones that evoke the beauty of age. By bringing this artistry to our loudspeakers, we add rich texture to the leather and give each piece an authentic character—like 13 individual works of art.

The Mastery of Touch
Each piece has been meticulously handcrafted with precision and care. The application of nourishing, pigmented cream creates subtle color gradations from light to dark, enhanced by skilled hands. The color is then set, and the final “glazing” stages bring everything together beautifully. Multiple drying periods are essential—great patina takes patience.
An Exceptional Ensemble
Two nesting coffee tables and the Bathys wireless active noise-cancelling headphones complete this Opus collection. Crafted in our cabinetmaking and production workshops, these exceptional pieces are finished in patinated leather for perfect aesthetic harmony. The collection embodies the elegance of fine materials and the refinement of French craftsmanship.
