Winner of What Hi-Fi’s Best Desktop Speaker award for seven years, the MR1 Mk2 became a firm favourite, but the Mk3 improves upon this greatness with a sound that’s simply exceptional. The new handcrafted cabinets provide ideal acoustic properties and with their bevelled front edges and Slate Grey grilles, now look even more stylish. Size wise the enclosures have been subtly enlarged to allow optimum volume for our new NS+ Bass/Mid units and for amplification we’ve adapted the Class D technology used in our R410, for a sizeable increase in power output and control.

With a superior moving magnet pre-amp with variable gain built-in, it’s easy to pair and match MR1 with most modern cartridges, allowing consistent volume levels across inputs. As a system for playing vinyl, MR1 brings analogue warmth with modern clarity and bass with unprecedented precision, transforming casual listening into an immersive musical journey revealing new dimensions in recordings old and new.
