The prowess of Dual-Mono amplification finally accessible.
The Expert 210 Pro combines two Expert 140 Pro units and lets you soar to whole new levels of performance, with a distorsion rate divided by 2 and an increased power reserve for each channel.
Expert Pro is the world’s most advanced audiophile system, meant for music lovers in search of a refined and emotional listening experience. Designed to replace traditional Hi-Fi systems, Expert Pro delivers all the core elements of playback – preamp, amp, DAC, streamer, phono stage – in a single and ultra-compact unit. By rethinking sound reproduction at every turn, Devialet engineers have been able to achieve the best performance ever measured, at all power levels. With a precise and natural attack, explosive dynamics, naked silence and beautifully true timbre, the experience is breathtaking.
Entirely configurable and upgradable, Expert Pro reveals your music’s full potential, whatever the source or speakers.

Why is the output power in dual-mono mode not always twice the output power of the stereo mode?
The ideal situation is to have no limitation in terms of thermal dissipation and current availability. This is the case with the 250 Pro where the output power in dual-mono is then 4 times higher than the output power in stereo (the output power P goes from 250W to 1000W as the output voltage U is multiplied by 2 in dual-mono and P=U2/R). With the 220 Pro, the casing is limiting the thermal dissipation in dual-mono mode and therefore the output power is only multiplied by 2. With the 140 Pro, the class D board is limiting the current availability and therefore the output power is only multiplied by 1.5.
